Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. János Gerencsér stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. A hard shot 20 in the game by David Trezeguet from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Antonio Arias hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the match, SK8 4 lif3's Jeferson Melo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when David Trezeguet sent off a good shot on target. Julio Vera had great luck who in the 31stth minute grab hold of the ball when Jeferson Melo from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 32nd minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but János Gerencsér saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Saelices to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Jeferson Melo from long distance, 39 minutes into the match, got Julio Vera's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 47th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but János Gerencsér saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 48th minute. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Luis Andino fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and János Gerencsér quite easily take care of the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Jamaal Hill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Camilo Gisbert hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dick Ros in the 58th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute SK8 4 lif3 were awarded a corner. Jeferson Melo went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on SK8 4 lif3's corner Jeferson Melo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. In the 61st minute, Luis Andino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dick Ros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to SK8 4 lif3 getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Jamaal Hill hit a great ball. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. SK8 4 lif3 made a substitution. Manga Joó replaced Jeferson Melo. SK8 4 lif3's Gino Norbert was substituted for David Trezeguet. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the match, Manga Joó notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gino Norbert in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with János Gerencsér in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. János Gerencsér was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Zorita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 87 minute of play. János Gerencsér made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gino Norbert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antony Ferrant went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The SK8 4 lif3 support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
