Lautaro Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Benito Sanz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ergün Özver. Juan Rubio hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. 1-0 became the score in the 9th minute when Aziz Kıvılcım elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Hugo Ferrant kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Lefter Demirbaş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Alcocer in the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lefter Demirbaş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 played minutes AKHisaR got a freekick which was hit by Galip Beşer. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lautaro Puig during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 24th minute, Arif Tugay Değirmencioğlu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AKHisaR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 27th minute, Aziz Kıvılcım made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Aziz Kıvılcım took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Halis İlbilge managed to get in a good position for a shot. AKHisaR's supporters rose to their feet, but Halis İlbilge was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aziz Kıvılcım received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Axel Tasis made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Aziz Kıvılcım managed to get in a good position for a shot. AKHisaR's supporters rose to their feet, but Aziz Kıvılcım was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 55th minute of play forced AKHisaR's goalkeeper Lefter Demirbaş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Abel Carballo hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a free kick in the 64th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arif Tugay Değirmencioğlu in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Axel Tasis in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lefter Demirbaş, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 69th minute, Arif Tugay Değirmencioğlu made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. AKHisaR's Yakup Hacıoğlu was substituted for Halis İlbilge. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aziz Kıvılcım in the 75th minute of play. Yakup Hacıoğlu's late challenge caught a Costa Rica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yakup Hacıoğlu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when AKHisaR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yakup Hacıoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Puig to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the match, Aziz Kıvılcım notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aziz Kıvılcım, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AKHisaR were furious when Anıl Baran Duran was red carded, 88 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 88 minutes into the game, one of AKHisaR:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 90 minutes, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Lefter Demirbaş. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Lautaro Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Puig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lefter Demirbaş breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
