Jeferson Melo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SK8 4 lif3's goalie prevented a goal. 8 minutes into the game, SK8 4 lif3's Jeferson Melo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. János Gerencsér showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 11th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, SK8 4 lif3's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but János Gerencsér reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck János Gerencsér prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by SK8 4 lif3's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Felix Montes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and János Gerencsér quite easily take care of the ball. János Gerencsér showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in SK8 4 lif3's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. János Gerencsér came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sidney Aupry during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 37th match minute, SK8 4 lif3 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidney Aupry to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute, Barrie Kemp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but János Gerencsér was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. János Gerencsér showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 43rd minute of the match.

János Gerencsér made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 55th minute of play. Barrie Kemp kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. With a little luck, SK8 4 lif3's János Gerencsér got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 69th minute, Barrie Kemp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luis Andino struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. János Gerencsér didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with János Gerencsér in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 75 minutes into the match, SK8 4 lif3's goalkeeper János Gerencsér had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. SK8 4 lif3 made a substitution. Antony Ferrant replaced Dick Ros. János Gerencsér took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute, Luis Andino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Antony Ferrant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, SK8 4 lif3's Manga Joó sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 87th minute of play forced SK8 4 lif3's goalkeeper János Gerencsér to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Despite being the better team, Ecuador failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
