In the 24th minute, one of Peru:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Peru. Romulo Beila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milagros Fraga in the 28th minute of play. Romulo Beila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 36th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Milagros Fraga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romulo Beila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 39th minute of play forced Bisturi F.C.'s goalkeeper Romulo Beila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes in the game Moises Gayoso did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Julian Murillo. Romulo Beila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Menelaos Markos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Carrasqueira in the 52nd minute of play. Bisturi F.C.'s Romulo Beila proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Bisturi F.C. from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Romulo Beila successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some careless play in the Bisturi F.C. defense, Julian Murillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romulo Beila. The Bisturi F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romulo Beila should have stopped the shot. Bisturi F.C. made a substitution. George Suminskis replaced Erlin Håland. After 77 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Efraim Gilabert. Menelaos Markos's late challenge caught a Peru's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Menelaos Markos helped the player get up and apologised. After 78 played minutes Bisturi F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Menelaos Markos. In the 81st minute, Luz Tejedor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romulo Beila was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Bisturi F.C.'s Menelaos Markos got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Antonio Tenorio scored 2-4 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Romulo Beila, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 89th minute, George Suminskis made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-4. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Suminskis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Bisturi F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Peru were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
