The audience thought a goal was coming when Luz Tejedor got free with Romulo Beila in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Peru's Romulo Beila threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Julian Murillo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Luz Tejedor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Romulo Beila made a huge save. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. George Suminskis took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. When the final whistle sounded Peru left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bisturi F.C..
