Edílson Souza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquin Gayoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Herbert Bobrowski went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 29th minute there was a penalty for Fifth Chicken. Edílson Souza stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Joaquin Gayoso. 0-3. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edílson Souza in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute Sabahattin Tuncaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fifth Chicken were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Uruguay's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kazimierz Sliwinski took the corner. In the 41st minute, Edílson Souza made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In the 45th minute Edílson Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Fifth Chicken's Waldemar Tipinski was substituted for Edílson Souza. A throw-in in the 74th minute of the game was made by Jaime Cazalla with Alberto Gisbert as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldemar Tipinski in the 76th minute of the match. Cezary Bartochowski made a great header on Fifth Chicken's corner, it was just that Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso managed to reach the ball for a save. Kevin Carballal charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 88 minutes into the game, Waldemar Tipinski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Joaquin Gayoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Joaquin Gayoso was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Waldemar Tipinski showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 91 minute of play. The Fifth Chicken players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
