The referee ignored Limhamns Stjärnor's protests and gave Bernt Sundling a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th minute, Bernt Sundling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Matthew Garrido hit a great ball. Gustaf Sjödin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 16th minute of play. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Limhamns Stjärnor's goalie and right to Miguel Miralles. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Limhamns Stjärnor's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. A collision led to Limhamns Stjärnor getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Bernt Sundling hit a great ball. Gustaf Sjödin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils-Emil Dahlbom in the 24th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustaf Sjödin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 27th minute of play. A collision led to Limhamns Stjärnor getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Vilhelm Drake hit a great ball. Gustaf Sjödin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 29th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gustaf Sjödin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tomas Berganza hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Nils-Emil Dahlbom managed to get in a good position for a shot. Limhamns Stjärnor's supporters rose to their feet, but Nils-Emil Dahlbom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Cotilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Nils-Emil Dahlbom tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 36th minute of the match Limhamns Stjärnor got a corner. Panama's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ove Dahlbom ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 39th minute, Gilbert Giliusson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nils-Emil Dahlbom in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Cotilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 44 played minutes Limhamns Stjärnor got a freekick which was hit by Gilbert Giliusson. Alex Cambeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. In the 49th minute, Alex Cambeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Olof Holmberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Otto Asklund during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Limhamns Stjärnor's zone, Tomas Berganza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustaf Sjödin came out of the goal and Tomas Berganza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Olof Holmberg in the 72nd minute of play. Limhamns Stjärnor's Gustaf Sjödin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Limhamns Stjärnor from getting a goal against them. In the 82nd minute of the match Ove Dahlbom shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Cotilla showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 82 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Berganza. Gustaf Sjödin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 88th minute. A collision led to Limhamns Stjärnor getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Ted Hasselqvist hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute, Bernt Sundling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaf Sjödin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilbert Giliusson's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gilbert Giliusson helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Panama booed when Limhamns Stjärnor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilbert Giliusson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Limhamns Stjärnor support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
