Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shi Zhen Liang in the 4th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Auktsjaur IF's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but Julian Borcz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kevin Nilsson was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 9th minute. Auktsjaur IF's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. A collision led to Auktsjaur IF getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Bengt Lööf hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Patryk Frodyma's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. In the 30th minute, Joel Gaona left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After some careless play in the Auktsjaur IF defense, Lautaro Mancebo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julian Borcz. The Auktsjaur IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julian Borcz should have stopped the shot. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Shi Zhen Liang tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Nilsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. 71 minutes into the match, Mexico's Joel Gaona sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julian Borcz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Julian Borcz was a little too slow when Alberto Tafalla got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 0-5. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Nilsson in the 84th minute of play. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shi Zhen Liang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Mexico left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Auktsjaur IF.
