Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rauno Sappinen, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 85th minute of the match SK Monkey Business got a corner. Chile's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ailar Traks ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Ailar Traks got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Thiago Pliego quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Petrov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute, Xavier Figueroa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mehmet Fatih Talaş charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
