An unexpectedly hard shot by Ma Tian in the 3rd minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute Tiburcio Lejalde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ben Kiesel in the 11th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 26th minute, Ma Tian left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JULM C.F. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 29 minutes into the match, Ma Tian had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ma Tian was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After 32 minutes, Ma Tian made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Panama's Marcos Cotilla tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ma Tian, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 37th minute Ben Kiesel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miguel Miralles during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 40 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Ma Tian came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Cotilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ma Tian's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ben Kiesel in the 44th minute of play. The Panama players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. JULM C.F. were winning 0-5.

In the 57th minute, Ma Tian left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JULM C.F. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. When the match had been going on for 61 minutes, JULM C.F.'s Ma Tian got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Marcos Cotilla. Ben Kiesel took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. With an all-out effort, JULM C.F.'s Marcos Cotilla threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ma Tian, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Marcos Cotilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ma Tian went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. JULM C.F.'s Jorginho Brodel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 81st minute of play. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Ben Kiesel sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ma Tian got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle sounded JULM C.F. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Panama.
