Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ferdinand Lucescu took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Calfachioi AC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Mugur Cornea hit a great ball. 7 minutes into the game, Gavril Calciu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Paraguay's Xavier Zoido quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Pardo in the 9th minute of play forced Calfachioi AC's goalkeeper Damian Şchiopu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Paraguay defense, Ferdinand Lucescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. The Paraguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacobo Nores should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Pardo in the 16th minute of play forced Calfachioi AC's goalkeeper Damian Şchiopu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdinand Lucescu came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Calfachioi AC booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavier Zoido didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 27 played minutes Calfachioi AC got a freekick which was hit by Mugur Cornea. After 29 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Iker Tafalla. 32 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ferdinand Lucescu. With a little luck, Paraguay's Jacobo Nores got control of the ball when Ferdinand Lucescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Calfachioi AC's Eric Mărăscu got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 46th minute of the match, Ferdinand Lucescu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jacobo Nores saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 56th match minute, Calfachioi AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mugur Cornea to maneuver through the defense. Jaime Pardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Damian Şchiopu made a huge save. Hector Covarrubias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Damian Şchiopu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute of the game Gavril Calciu made a throw-in which Mugur Cornea played forward. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Calfachioi AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mugur Cornea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gavril Calciu scored 2-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Nores, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A throw-in in the 77th minute of the game was made by Gavril Calciu with Mugur Cornea as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinand Lucescu in the 81st minute of play. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdinand Lucescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damian Şchiopu made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Jaime Pardo sent off a good shot on target. Paraguay's attentive Hector Covarrubias managed to snatch the ball when Manole Busuioceanu made a throw-in in the 87th minute of the game. The Calfachioi AC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
