After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Shi Zhen Liang managed to get in a good position for a shot. Auktsjaur IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Shi Zhen Liang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 18th minute of the match, Alberto Tafalla got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julian Borcz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, Auktsjaur IF's Julian Borcz got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Mexico booed when Auktsjaur IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt Lööf didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Casper Wennerqvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Auktsjaur IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. Casper Wennerqvist hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. The throw-in from Leonardo Leoz in the 29th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Auktsjaur IF's Donald Mac Donald. 30 minutes into the match, Patryk Frodyma notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Felix Luque made in the 34th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Auktsjaur IF's Karl Backlund. Facundo Cadaval could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Julian Borcz made a huge save. Kevin Nilsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. In the 39th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Borcz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Auktsjaur IF's Patryk Frodyma got a free kick in the 45th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. Auktsjaur IF's attentive Donald Mac Donald managed to snatch the ball when Leonardo Leoz made a throw-in in the 51st minute of the game. Kevin Nilsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Auktsjaur IF's Julian Borcz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Auktsjaur IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Joel Gaona almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Auktsjaur IF's Julian Borcz did a great save. Bengt Lööf hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Kevin Nilsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Auktsjaur IF booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Cazalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julian Borcz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the match, Auktsjaur IF's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Julian Borcz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Kevin Nilsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Casper Wennerqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Chants of Auktsjaur IF echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Mexico had held the ball for most of the match.
