But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Murillo couldn't finish the play. 13 minutes into the game, Christian Motta threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Xander Goos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Noboa came out and tried to block the shot, but Gianpaolo Lovera slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 35th minute. After 37 played minutes Tarrasque Voador F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Napoleon Furgal. Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Xander Goos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 39th minute of play. Peru's Julian Murillo got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 43 minutes into the game, Peru's Luz Tejedor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Xander Goos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Gianpaolo Lovera kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Julian Murillo made the kick off in the second half. Napoleon Furgal got a throw-in 54 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Christian Motta. In the 56th minute Milagros Fraga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xander Goos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xander Goos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Mina, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Lionel-Andrés Messi was substituted for Carlos Leão. Emmanuel Reyes hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. 65 minutes into the match, Shen Sang Hao had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Noboa. Eliseo Mina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Xander Goos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Xander Goos was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Rafael Gallo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rafael Gallo really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Xander Goos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Gallo in the 91st minute of the match. Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Xander Goos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Tarrasque Voador F.C. from getting a goal against them. Peru were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
