Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 4th minute of play forced Grêmio 20 Julho's goalkeeper Sylwester Zarobski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 5 minutes Grêmio 20 Julho's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Luca Rouco fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sylwester Zarobski quite easily take care of the ball. In the 13th minute Gilmar Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 18 in the game by Alberto Tafalla from a close distance when the talented Sylwester Zarobski managed to make a qualified save. Grêmio 20 Julho's players were relieved. In the 19th minute, Lorenzo Cazalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Grêmio 20 Julho's Humberto Soeiro tried to score from far away in the 20th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Téo Pires came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Facundo Cadaval hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the match, Valdemar de Amaral notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Grêmio 20 Julho getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Tiaguinho Saldanha hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sylwester Zarobski. Sylwester Zarobski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Téo Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. Leonardo Leoz made in the 38th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Grêmio 20 Julho's Kléber Borges. In the 41st minute, Alberto Tafalla made a precise shot to the right of Sylwester Zarobski. Grêmio 20 Julho's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Téo Pires, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valdir Cavalcante made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Grêmio 20 Julho's Valdir Cavalcante slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dante Lacasa. That made the score 2-2 after 51 minutes of play. Sylwester Zarobski came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Alberto Tafalla. But to his dismay, Alberto Tafalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Sylwester Zarobski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 61st minute of play. The supporters of Grêmio 20 Julho booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Luque didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the game, one of Grêmio 20 Julho:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 73 minutes into the game, Gilmar Romero recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dante Lacasa. Gilmar Romero showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-3. Ma Xi Kang kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona notched a goal, 4-3, to the right of Grêmio 20 Julho's Sylwester Zarobski. Sylwester Zarobski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sylwester Zarobski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, Dante Lacasa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 90 minutes into the match, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sylwester Zarobski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luca Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Mexico players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
