Urko FC's Sebastián Torrico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 28th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, Celso Cruz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and Celso Cruz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A sloppy throw-in by Joel Gaona in the 31st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Urko FC's John Volkertsen. Celso Cruz struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Urko FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Cruz in the 33rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute Antonio Arnas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberto Tafalla in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastián Torrico prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sebastián Torrico made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 40th minute. Sebastián Torrico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After 52 played minutes Urko FC got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Kauldi. After a rather tough play, Urko FC's 高天烽 got a free kick in the 54th minute. Sebastián Torrico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 55th minute of play. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Arnas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastián Torrico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 65 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Arnas came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Luque to maneuver through the defense. Urko FC's Igor Baudelio was substituted for Filomeno Kauldi. Dante Lacasa was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Andrew Robertson. 69 minutes into the game, Arrosko Lechem cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Urko FC's Sebastián Torrico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 77th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Igor Baudelio. After a rather tough play, Urko FC's 高天烽 got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute of the match Joel Gaona sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sebastián Torrico skillfully saved the ball. 92 minutes into the game, Urko FC's Igor Baudelio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lautaro Mancebo in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastián Torrico saved Urko FC from getting behind. The Mexico supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Urko FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Urko FC.
