Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Xan Revillas got the match started through his kick off. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sagrario Paniagua having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, CD Municipal's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Sagrario Paniagua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Felix Montenegro notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of CD Municipal's Sagrario Paniagua. Sagrario Paniagua was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Gaztea Rubin kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, CD Municipal's Kemen Zalon got a free kick in the 18th minute. The audience was convinced that Cristian Sancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sagrario Paniagua was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. After 23 played minutes CD Municipal got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Bojorquez. Sagrario Paniagua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 25th minute of play. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 31st minute of play forced CD Municipal's goalkeeper Sagrario Paniagua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sagrario Paniagua was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Sagrario Paniagua came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sagrario Paniagua having to make a save. Kemen Zalon kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Sagrario Paniagua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 43rd minute of play. Luis Andino took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sagrario Paniagua. Sagrario Paniagua dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Sagrario Paniagua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to CD Municipal getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Marcelo Bojorquez hit a great ball. In the 53rd minute, Kemen Zalon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sagrario Paniagua made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustín Saelices in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind CD Municipal's goalkeeper Sagrario Paniagua, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Sagrario Paniagua successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sagrario Paniagua came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Zorita slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 63rd minute. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sagrario Paniagua read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. A collision led to CD Municipal getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Mambru Entrala hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Ecuador's Sagrario Paniagua threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luis Andino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Daniel Zorita scored 0-7 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sagrario Paniagua, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 75 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sagrario Paniagua made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. Sagrario Paniagua made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 78th minute. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sagrario Paniagua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to CD Municipal getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Marcelo Bojorquez hit a great ball. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
