Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) After 2 minutes, Enzo Nuñez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Gallardeta and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Venezuela booed when La Gallardeta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Nuñez didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jan-Olof Eliasson came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the La Gallardeta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan-Olof Eliasson couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fulgencio Gartzi in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. 13 minutes into the match, Fulgencio Gartzi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fulgencio Gartzi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, La Gallardeta's Jan-Olof Eliasson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Belchior Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 18th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. La Gallardeta's Fulgencio Gartzi got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute Fulgencio Gartzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Fulgencio Gartzi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Fulgencio Gartzi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 30th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. Jan-Olof Eliasson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. La Gallardeta's Enzo Nuñez got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Jan-Olof Eliasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, La Gallardeta's Fulgencio Gartzi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. When Patricio Costa fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Patricio Costa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th minute, Fulgencio Gartzi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Gallardeta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fulgencio Gartzi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jan-Olof Eliasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulgencio Gartzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Jan-Olof Eliasson took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Belchior Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute Fulgencio Gartzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Gartzi in the 64th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to La Gallardeta getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Sebastian Abechuco hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fulgencio Gartzi went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. In the 77th minute, Fulgencio Gartzi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Gartzi in the 83rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 84 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alessio Scandella who took care of the corner kick. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Gartzi in the 92nd minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulgencio Gartzi in the 94th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. La Gallardeta had played much better football throughout.
