The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Antoni Piesciuk was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Antoni Piesciuk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. After having played for 12 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind KP Brzeg Dolny's goalkeeper Antoni Piesciuk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Antoni Piesciuk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antoni Piesciuk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Antoni Piesciuk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 31st minute of the match. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 32nd minute. Stuart Armstrong in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Ecuador booed when KP Brzeg Dolny was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Krzysztof Majtyka didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antoni Piesciuk was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Antoni Piesciuk made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Daniel Zorita slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Antoni Piesciuk. That made the score 1-2 after 52 minutes of play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Antoni Piesciuk, 1-3. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stuart Armstrong in the 64th minute of play. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Antoni Piesciuk made a huge save. Antoni Piesciuk made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. After 74 played minutes KP Brzeg Dolny got a freekick which was hit by Radomir Zdrojowy. In the 75th match minute, KP Brzeg Dolny was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Izydor Pyczkowski to maneuver through the defense. Antoni Piesciuk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute Stuart Armstrong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Izydor Pyczkowski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. Stuart Armstrong hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Antoni Piesciuk in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stuart Armstrong in the 87th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KP Brzeg Dolny's Antoni Piesciuk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save KP Brzeg Dolny from getting a goal against them. In the 93rd minute Stuart Armstrong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 94 minutes, Wiktor Kilian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KP Brzeg Dolny and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to KP Brzeg Dolny getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Wiktor Kilian hit a great ball. The KP Brzeg Dolny fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
