Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Bolivian AI 1.0's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Agustín Saelices got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-2. 15 minutes into the match. Kristián Pražan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the match, Bolivian AI 1.0's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Kristián Pražan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Govert Beuneker. Govert Beuneker's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute of the match Bolivian AI 1.0 got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rainerio Abancens ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 31st minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Kristián Pražan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Kristián Pražan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Kristián Pražan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 43rd minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 52 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kristián Pražan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 67th minute of the match Bolivian AI 1.0 got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The referee ignored Bolivian AI 1.0's protests and gave Mancio Abastas a yellow card for diving instead. Mancio Abastas kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Primitivo Andino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Kristián Pražan made a huge save. 81 minutes in the game Primitivo Andino did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Cristian Sancho. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Bolivian AI 1.0 were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
