Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Betão Machado got the match started through his kick off. Thiago Pliego dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dan Almkvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. In the last second Thiago Pliego throw himself and got hold of the ball when Nils-Åke Lundgren in the 13thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Udinese were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Chile's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joacim Berggren took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Joacim Berggren got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Thiago Pliego quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 16th minute of play forced Udinese's goalkeeper Dan Almkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Udinese's Dan Almkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 20th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Udinese's Thiago Pliego threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nils-Åke Lundgren, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 26th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Almkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thiago Pliego breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 36 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dan Almkvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Chile booed when Udinese was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andolin Climent didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariano Lacasa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dan Almkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 51st minute of the match. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Udinese's goalkeeper Dan Almkvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thiago Pliego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Betão Machado's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Chile's zone, Nils-Åke Lundgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal and Nils-Åke Lundgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Dan Almkvist made a huge save. In the 93rd minute Betão Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Chile walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
