João Augusto Diniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Augusto Diniz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Felix Montes charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felix Montes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Álvaro Abreu during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Social Anarquia F.C. OFF getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Álvaro Abreu hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Augusto Diniz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Social Anarquia F.C. OFF's João Augusto Diniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 17th minute of play. After 20 played minutes Social Anarquia F.C. OFF got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fabiano Dantas. In the 24th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Augusto Diniz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When Agustín Saelices came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agustín Saelices couldn't finish the play. After 29 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Andino. Duarte Tinoco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julio Vera. Ecuador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 34th minute of play forced Social Anarquia F.C. OFF's goalkeeper João Augusto Diniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Social Anarquia F.C. OFF's João Augusto Diniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 36th minute of play. After 37 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. João Augusto Diniz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with João Augusto Diniz in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 53rd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Augusto Diniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but João Augusto Diniz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 57th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Augusto Diniz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. João Augusto Diniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 61st minute of the match. After having played for 65 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis Andino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Augusto Diniz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. João Augusto Diniz made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Social Anarquia F.C. OFF's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but João Augusto Diniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Antonio Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Social Anarquia F.C. OFF's Duarte Tinoco got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Social Anarquia F.C. OFF throughout the match.
