Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Julian Murillo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Qiu Chuan Ran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luz Tejedor to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gonzalo Lixandro. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Qiu Chuan Ran read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 10th minute. Julian Murillo was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Milagros Fraga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Qiu Chuan Ran read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Faria in the 17th minute of the match. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raimundo Ventura in the 19th minute. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Modesto Bras made a throw-in in the 22nd minute of the game. 22 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Qiu Chuan Ran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Julian Murillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Qiu Chuan Ran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Mina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Qiu Chuan Ran saved Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. from getting behind. After some careless play in the Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. defense, Milagros Fraga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Qiu Chuan Ran. The Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Qiu Chuan Ran should have stopped the shot. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzalo Lixandro, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Qiu Chuan Ran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 45th minute of play. A collision led to Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Rodolfo Faria hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gonzalo Lixandro made a kick off. Milagros Fraga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Qiu Chuan Ran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Rodolfo Faria got a free kick in the 52nd minute. The throw-in from Modesto Bras in the 57th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Modesto Bras in the 65 minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Modesto Bras in the 71st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. With a little luck, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Qiu Chuan Ran got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 76th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Peru's corner Julian Murillo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Qiu Chuan Ran quite easily take care of the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Qiu Chuan Ran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Qiu Chuan Ran in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. In the 87th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eliseo Mina ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Peru's corner Alonso Berganza fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Qiu Chuan Ran quite easily take care of the ball. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Modesto Bras in the 90 minute of the game. After 91 played minutes Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. got a freekick which was hit by Menelaos Damianos. Eliseo Mina, 91 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 95 minutes into the game, Rafael Gallo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Qiu Chuan Ran. Rafael Gallo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. The Peru players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
