After 6 minutes of play, Chile's Mariano Lacasa made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tadeusz Rutkowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 12th minute, Czeslaw Dembowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gerardo Pozo kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulryk Merski in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Janusz Pusiak in the 21st minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 2kC Poznań's attentive Czeslaw Dembowski managed to snatch the ball when Felix Garrido made a throw-in in the 25th minute of the game. When Chile's Mariano Lacasa in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye 2kC Poznań's goalie prevented a goal. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulryk Merski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeusz Rutkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Pedro Indiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 40th minute, Mariano Lacasa made a precise shot to the right of Tadeusz Rutkowski. 2kC Poznań's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. With his leg Thiago Pliego managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when 2kC Poznań's Ulryk Merski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ulryk Merski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Zbigniew Zaworski replaced Marek Buczko. 2kC Poznań's Lucjan Sokol was substituted for Ulryk Merski. 2kC Poznań's Zachary Plaski was substituted for Stanislaw Kisielka. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Janusz Pusiak in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. Lucjan Sokol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tadeusz Rutkowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Tadeusz Rutkowski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mariano Lacasa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 71 minute of play. In the 74th minute, Lucjan Sokol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Chile's Mariano Lacasa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tadeusz Rutkowski. That made the score 1-4 after 82 minutes of play. In the 92ndth minute of the game Orlando Casaus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 2kC Poznań's Tadeusz Rutkowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Chile's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
