If Klement Lesiecki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Klement Lesiecki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Klement Lesiecki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Fausto Raymundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 13th minute of the match. Fausto Raymundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fausto Raymundo. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Wilfredo Gabino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Wilfredo Gabino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fausto Raymundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 39th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 42nd minute of play forced Miramar's goalkeeper Fausto Raymundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th match minute, Miramar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven Björnberg to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Klement Lesiecki made a kick off. The Miramar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fausto Raymundo should have stopped the shot. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
