Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomás Quadros kicked off to start the match. After 5 played minutes, MLM's Henrik Tidén shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julio Vera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in MLM reached it. With a little luck, MLM's Bob Cazeneuve got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bob Cazeneuve made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Bob Cazeneuve took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bob Cazeneuve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 25 played minutes MLM got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Camara. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bob Cazeneuve firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 27 played minutes MLM got a freekick which was hit by Xavian Revuelta. In the 30th minute, Adolfo Camara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Charro Alavedra hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. MLM made a substitution. Armando Alabern replaced Adolfo Camara. Charro Alavedra kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bob Cazeneuve narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 40 played minutes MLM got a freekick which was hit by Argi Saura. In the 41st minute, Luis Andino reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bob Cazeneuve. The goal made the score 2-0. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Agustín Saelices received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Bob Cazeneuve tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Ecuador's Luis Andino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bob Cazeneuve having to interfere. Bob Cazeneuve showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Bob Cazeneuve despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. MLM's Bob Cazeneuve played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 67th minute of play forced MLM's goalkeeper Bob Cazeneuve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Bob Cazeneuve was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. MLM made a substitution. Candido Valerón replaced Argi Saura. After 72 minutes, Agustín Saelices mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the MLM players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of MLM booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustín Saelices didn't get a good kick on the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomás Quadros. Bob Cazeneuve showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After 75 minutes, Daniel Zorita made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. MLM's Bob Cazeneuve tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bob Cazeneuve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 79th minute of play. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 83 minutes, Flavio Colillas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MLM and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to MLM getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Flavio Colillas hit a great ball. Bob Cazeneuve took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, MLM's Salif Keita got a free kick in the 88th minute. Bob Cazeneuve showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Bob Cazeneuve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 95th minute of play. Bob Cazeneuve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Mancebo in the 96th minute of play. There was no doubt that Ecuador were the better team. Ecuador's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
