Ray Pincini started the match with the kick off. Francisco Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 7th minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Attilio Gentile saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8thth minute of the game Ray Pincini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Jaime Cazalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Attilio Gentile took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, Devebağırtan Gücü F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Attilio Gentile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaime Cazalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Attilio Gentile having to interfere. Necip Sarıoğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Joaquin Gayoso made a huge save. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Uruguay's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rıdvan Zeyrek was slow to take the kick. During this time Devebağırtan Gücü F. C.'s players had a chance to rest. In the 28th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Covarrubias to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Ray Pincini came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute, Ray Pincini made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisco Seco made a kick off. In the 54th minute Necip Sarıoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ray Pincini kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Arif Memduh Hacı made in the 61st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Veli Tacal however managed to control. Devebağırtan Gücü F. C.'s Attilio Gentile proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Devebağırtan Gücü F. C. from getting a goal against them. 64 minutes into the game, Maximiliano Escribano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uruguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Devebağırtan Gücü F. C. the free kick. The supporters of Devebağırtan Gücü F. C. booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Escribano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute Ray Pincini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Francisco Seco got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After 90 minutes Devebağırtan Gücü F. C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jaime Cazalla who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Jaime Cazalla got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Attilio Gentile quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 92nd minute, Necip Sarıoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd play minute Francisco Seco came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Attilio Gentile. 1-1. Francisco Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Attilio Gentile tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Uruguay were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
