Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davi Dal Bello in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Davi Dal Bello came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Dal 3ello's Natan Lamonica got a free kick in the 35th minute. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Alex Chicote got a free kick in the 47th minute. Dal 3ello's Ronaldo Dal Bello was substituted for Leopoldo Loureiro. The supporters of Dal 3ello booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 49 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half.
