Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 2 minutes, Hector Bladi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Svetlozar Karamihov having to interfere. Manos Tsakalidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hector Bladi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

With a little luck, Big Babousa's Svetlozar Karamihov got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Cristian Sancho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Svetlozar Karamihov. The goal made the score 0-2. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
