The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 17 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Nuka Crazies's Hugo Blomqvist. Hugo Blomqvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Guillermo Mariano in the 26th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Nuka Crazies's Richard Dickson. Jonny Sjöberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonny Sjöberg's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonny Sjöberg made a kick off. After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Venezuela! Jonathan Ferrant had in the 53rdth minute some difficulties stopping Jonny Sjöberg's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 57th minute of the game Karl-Johan Strömberg made a throw-in which Benjamin Wennerqvist played forward. After 58 played minutes Nuka Crazies got a freekick which was hit by Ulf Bohlin. In the 61st minute, Jonny Sjöberg made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonny Sjöberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonny Sjöberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute Magnus Runeberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The penalty shot was made by Richard Dickson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. 8-2. After 96 minutes of play, Nuka Crazies's Magnus Runeberg made it 9-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee ended the match the Nuka Crazies players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
