Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nabel Al Naqi started the match with the kick off. When Abram Luque came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the El Salvador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abram Luque couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Fernandino in the 7th minute of play forced Glastonbury's goalkeeper Msaed Shalan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Seraj Al Kandere sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Mateo Leguizamo managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Salvador's supporters rose to their feet, but Mateo Leguizamo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Msaed Shalan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Glastonbury's Wael Al Towatan got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After 30 played minutes Nabel Al Naqi rounded El Salvador's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. In the 33rd minute, Wael Al Towatan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Glastonbury's zone, Moises Fernandino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Msaed Shalan came out of the goal and Moises Fernandino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 43 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Seraj Al Kandere. Ricardo Zorita made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Fadhel Al Bloshi sent off a good shot on target.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Moises Fernandino made a kick off. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fadhel Al Bloshi in the 54th minute of play. Seraj Al Kandere received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 59 minutes of play, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Msaed Shalan was left in no man's land by his defense there! 66 minutes into the game, Jaber Al Motar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Ricardo Zorita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 70th minute Seraj Al Kandere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesus Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nabel Al Naqi in the 72nd minute of play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Zorita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 81 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Seraj Al Kandere came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Jalal Jiragh had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marco Tamayo during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Glastonbury booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Tamayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Moises Fernandino struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Msaed Shalan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Salvador. The crowd rose to their feet as Moises Fernandino kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Msaed Shalan. That made the score 2-3 in the 86 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Seraj Al Kandere's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Zorita was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. In the 93rd minute Nabel Al Naqi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Nabel Al Naqi came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Glastonbury manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing El Salvador to win.
