After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Davi Dal Bello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Davi Dal Bello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Dal 3ello's Davi Dal Bello fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Dal 3ello was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natan Lamonica didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davi Dal Bello in the 27th minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Dal 3ello's Davi Dal Bello nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. If Davi Dal Bello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davi Dal Bello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davi Dal Bello in the 42nd minute of play. When Dal 3ello's Leopoldo Loureiro in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Felipe Dal Bello replaced Davi Dal Bello. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Dal Bello in the 65th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
