In the 3rd minute, Tiger's Iwo Sawicki ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Pentti Ojala could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Christo Bothenhain was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 11th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Pentti Ojala could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. After 20 played minutes Tiger got a freekick which was hit by Rudolf Speed. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iwo Sawicki in the 30th minute of the match. Rigoberto Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christo Bothenhain in the 35th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Iwo Sawicki notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 42nd minute, Tomas Illescas made a precise shot to the right of Josef Witlatschil. Tiger's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. 47 minutes into the match, Pentti Ojala dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 5-1.
After having played for 53 minutes, Christo Bothenhain managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tiger's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christo Bothenhain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Tiger's Gaizka Mendieta. But to his dismay, Gaizka Mendieta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. After having played for 60 minutes, Pentti Ojala managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tiger's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pentti Ojala was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thilo Heß received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiger made a substitution. Ingo Ustorf replaced Rudolf Speed. In the 72nd minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josef Witlatschil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Tiger made a substitution. Marten Weise replaced Iwo Sawicki. After 75 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thilo Heß, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pentti Ojala in the 78th minute of play. The Tiger fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Tiger's Pentti Ojala looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Gaizka Mendieta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tiger's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaizka Mendieta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thilo Heß in the 84th minute of play. The supporters of Tiger booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute, Christo Bothenhain made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Pentti Ojala managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tiger's supporters rose to their feet, but Pentti Ojala was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Tiger fully deserved thier win.
