Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manos Tsakalidis in the 14th minute of play. Big Babousa's Svetlozar Karamihov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 16th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Big Babousa's Ali Kağan Güzir got a free kick in the 17th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Hector Bladi notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Big Babousa's zone, Lautaro Mancebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Svetlozar Karamihov came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manos Tsakalidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After some careless play in the Big Babousa defense, Lautaro Mancebo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Svetlozar Karamihov. The Big Babousa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Svetlozar Karamihov should have stopped the shot. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Svetlozar Karamihov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Big Babousa's Svetlozar Karamihov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Zorita in the 35th minute of play. Svetlozar Karamihov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 36th minute of play. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hector Bladi in the 41st minute. Hector Bladi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 52nd minute of play forced Big Babousa's goalkeeper Svetlozar Karamihov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Rouco to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Big Babousa's goalkeeper Svetlozar Karamihov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lautaro Mancebo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Svetlozar Karamihov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Mexico's Joel Gaona ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Svetlozar Karamihov. Svetlozar Karamihov yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rick Sánchez in the 76th minute of play. Dario Costante hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Lautaro Mancebo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Svetlozar Karamihov skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lautaro Mancebo in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Svetlozar Karamihov saved Big Babousa from getting behind. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manos Tsakalidis in the 92nd minute of play. Mexico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
