Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomas Illescas got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After having played for 7 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pablo Gonzales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Argentinos de Bien was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacarias Lizardi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 23rd minute, Joshua Secada had to leave the field with a concussion. Venezuela's Roberto Ocampo was substituted for Joshua Secada. After 25 played minutes Argentinos de Bien got a freekick which was hit by Zacarias Lizardi. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfredo Urtsin was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Zacarias Lizardi made in the 31st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Baldomero Serapio. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guillermo Mariano during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 34 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. In the 37th minute Delmar Hustaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Patricio Costa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Venezuela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Alfredo Urtsin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After the first half Venezuela were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Pablo Gonzales made the kick off in the second half. Alfredo Urtsin stood somewhat misplaced when Tomas Illescas came free in front of goal and shot 0-2 to the left of him in the 51 minute. Zacarias Lizardi was shown his second yellow card after 55 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Argentinos de Bien was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacarias Lizardi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfredo Urtsin was a little too slow when Tomas Illescas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 0-3. 65 minutes into the match, Argentinos de Bien's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Alfredo Urtsin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Argentinos de Bien's Alfredo Urtsin. Alfredo Urtsin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Urtsin having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Venezuela's Tomas Illescas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alfredo Urtsin. That made the score 0-6 after 86 minutes of play. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 91 in the game by Tomas Illescas from a close distance when the talented Alfredo Urtsin managed to make a qualified save. Argentinos de Bien's players were relieved. Argentinos de Bien's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Patricio Costa scored to the left of an out of position Alfredo Urtsin, making the score, 0-7. Venezuela's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
