Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Agustín Saelices fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lucho Putin quite easily take care of the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Les Loups du Vercors's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Lucho Putin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Les Loups du Vercors's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. 19 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Saúl Valentim. Anatole Le Roch hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matheo Trehin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Les Loups du Vercors were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jean-Paul Maujean took the corner. The corner led Les Loups du Vercors's Anatole Le Roch to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucho Putin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 33rd minute of play. Matheo Trehin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oro Macías kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After 41 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Juan Sebastián Puig. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 52nd minute of play forced Les Loups du Vercors's goalkeeper Lucho Putin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matheo Trehin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucho Putin having to interfere. In the 59thth minute of the game Matheo Trehin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lucho Putin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Primitivo Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Lucho Putin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 69th minute. In the 72nd minute, Matheo Trehin made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0.
