Fryderyk Hatman made in the 8th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. In the 13th minute, Semavi Polat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the match, Semavi Polat dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rolando Noboa, 2-0. Luz Tejedor scored 2-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Boleslaw Ruszczyk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Boleslaw Ruszczyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 28th minute of play. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Semavi Polat tried to sneak it across the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Boleslaw Ruszczyk. Victoria Przyborów's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Semavi Polat was the one to do the kick off. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Semavi Polat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 52 minutes into the match, Semavi Polat notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Peru's Rolando Noboa.
