The supporters of Ecuador booed when Stal Sanok was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lin Ang didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Felix Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Montenegro couldn't finish the play. Felix Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pankracy Pasterski having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Stal Sanok's Dragoş Antoniu got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute of the match, Cihat Cevval got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Vera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Pankracy Pasterski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Pankracy Pasterski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 36th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pankracy Pasterski saved Stal Sanok from getting behind. Pankracy Pasterski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 37th minute of play. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Pankracy Pasterski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. When Ecuador's Agustín Saelices in 45 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Pankracy Pasterski guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cihat Cevval in the 46th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. After 55 minutes of play, Stal Sanok's Cui Liang Xiong made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ari Hakanpää in the 60th minute of play. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pankracy Pasterski. Pankracy Pasterski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 66th minute, which Pankracy Pasterski however easily saved by the left post. In the 71st match minute, Stal Sanok was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wit Wiatrak to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cui Liang Xiong in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Stal Sanok were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lin Ang took the corner. Jaroslaw Filanowski charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaroslaw Filanowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Felix Montenegro's late challenge caught a Stal Sanok's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Montenegro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 85th minute, Felix Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Pankracy Pasterski made a huge save. The Stal Sanok fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
