Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristián Pražan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Kristián Pražan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute of the game Primitivo Andino made a throw-in which Felix Montenegro played forward. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita pulled a muscle in his leg after 12 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Mancio Abastas fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bolivian AI 1.0's protests and gave Mancio Abastas a yellow card for diving instead. Ecuador's Luz Palacio was substituted for Daniel Zorita. Kristián Pražan made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Jacob Armitage stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Jacob Armitage tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Kristián Pražan made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig got a free kick in the 23rd minute. When Rainerio Abancens came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Bolivian AI 1.0 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rainerio Abancens couldn't finish the play. 27 minutes into the game, Alessio Sanna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bolivian AI 1.0's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. A collision led to Bolivian AI 1.0 getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Alessio Sanna hit a great ball. Cristian Sancho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Kristián Pražan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Govert Beuneker, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Rainerio Abancens made a great header on Bolivian AI 1.0's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. When Jacob Armitage came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Bolivian AI 1.0 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacob Armitage couldn't finish the play. Bolivian AI 1.0's Kristián Pražan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Bolivian AI 1.0 from getting a goal against them. In the 45th minute Jacob Armitage shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Jacob Armitage made the kick off in the second half. If Luz Palacio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luz Palacio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kristián Pražan having to make a save. In the 58th minute Jacob Armitage shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bolivian AI 1.0 were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rainerio Abancens took the corner. Bolivian AI 1.0's Rainerio Abancens was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Bolivian AI 1.0's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristián Pražan came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 62 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kristián Pražan. Bolivian AI 1.0's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kristián Pražan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Palacio in the 69th minute of play. Luz Palacio might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kristián Pražan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luz Palacio ran back to his position shaking his head. Kristián Pražan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Palacio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Luis Andino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kristián Pražan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luz Palacio took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kristián Pražan. Kristián Pražan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Bolivian AI 1.0 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacob Armitage didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
