Ulysse Folliot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Facundo Cadaval sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulysse Folliot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 23rd minute of the match. Lautaro Mancebo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ulysse Folliot having to make a save. 27 minutes into the game, Mexico's Joel Gaona nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ulysse Folliot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 31 minutes into the match, Les 3 Quilles FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Ulysse Folliot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 34 minutes Les 3 Quilles FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Luca Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Les 3 Quilles FC's Ulysse Folliot did a great save. Les 3 Quilles FC's Ulysse Folliot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 36th minute of play. Clément Bore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulysse Folliot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lautaro Mancebo scored 0-4 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ulysse Folliot, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulysse Folliot having to interfere. After the first half Mexico were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Joel Gaona kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ulysse Folliot. That made the score 0-5 in the 52 minute of play. Ulysse Folliot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 56th minute, Joel Gaona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ulysse Folliot was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludovic Zhang in the 59th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 62 minutes into the game, when Marc Logez put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, Les 3 Quilles FC's Marc Logez got a free kick in the 62nd minute. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ulysse Folliot saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 74th minute, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ulysse Folliot. Ulysse Folliot yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulysse Folliot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clément Bore in the 80th minute of play. Alberto Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ulysse Folliot was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Joel Gaona showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 82 minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of Les 3 Quilles FC's Ulysse Folliot. Ulysse Folliot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the final whistle sounded Mexico left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Les 3 Quilles FC.
