The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ernesto Fe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. In the 19th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Gaona to maneuver through the defense. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ubaldo Gonzales in the 21st minute. After 21 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Mancebo. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivo Oja in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 24th minute of play forced Cavallino Rampante II's goalkeeper Ernesto Fe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Ivo Oja sent off a good shot on target. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candido Garin in the 31st minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubaldo Gonzales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 35th minute of play forced Cavallino Rampante II's goalkeeper Ernesto Fe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Jonas Olivar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubaldo Gonzales in the 47th minute of play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ivo Oja to strike the kick off in the second half. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 53rd minute, Ubaldo Gonzales got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 54th match minute, Cavallino Rampante II was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmelo Polentzi to maneuver through the defense. Ernesto Fe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 55th minute of play. Ubaldo Gonzales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 61 minutes of play, Cavallino Rampante II's Ivo Oja made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ernesto Fe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 67th minute of play forced Cavallino Rampante II's goalkeeper Ernesto Fe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Fe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 69 minutes of play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ernesto Fe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ernesto Fe was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Joel Gaona showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 72 minute of play. Cavallino Rampante II's Haroldo Caradaro was substituted for Ivo Oja. Cavallino Rampante II made a substitution. Cornelio Dubardo replaced Manuel Ioritz. Cavallino Rampante II's Ernesto Fe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Cavallino Rampante II from getting a goal against them. Luca Zorita charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luca Zorita the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 94 minutes into the match, Cavallino Rampante II's goalkeeper Ernesto Fe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisito Filipo in the 95th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mexico played a much better game than Cavallino Rampante II and deserved their victory. The Cavallino Rampante II players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
