In the 4th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabian Oto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Gil in the 7th minute of play. Fabian Oto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Absolut Rasta FC's German Gil in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of German Gil's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. The Absolut Rasta FC fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Absolut Rasta FC's German Gil looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 20th minute, Gaston Gotzon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers German Gil in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. 27 minutes into the game, Blas Efraim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Absolut Rasta FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. After 27 played minutes Absolut Rasta FC got a freekick which was hit by Blas Efraim. Fabian Oto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Oto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rdth minute of the game German Gil who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fabian Oto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 38th minute of play forced Absolut Rasta FC's goalkeeper Fabian Oto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonatan Heriberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. In the 58th match minute, Absolut Rasta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Cebo to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Sebastián Puig to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute Enzo Maiorga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. German Gil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rosendo Felipillo during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fabian Oto made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Cristian Sancho took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Fabian Oto to make any attempt to save it. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. German Gil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. German Gil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Absolut Rasta FC's Fabian Oto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Absolut Rasta FC from getting a goal against them. In the 82nd minute, Daniel Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Absolut Rasta FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from German Gil in the 86th minute of the match. The Absolut Rasta FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
