Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Malcolm Göransson took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th match minute, FK Crvena Zvezda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Britz to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute, Uno Bergqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mario Fernandino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Mario Fernandino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 16th minute, Eduardo Fontirroig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Bolivia fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Bolivia's Eduardo Fontirroig looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 27 minutes, Mario Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolivia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Fernandino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 28 played minutes FK Crvena Zvezda got a freekick which was hit by Uno Bergqvist. Mario Fernandino struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Leif Browall didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bolivia. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eduardo Fontirroig during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Erland Hagström came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the FK Crvena Zvezda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erland Hagström couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Gallo to maneuver through the defense. Malcolm Göransson took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Camilo Freixa. Camilo Freixa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Mario Fernandino made the kick off in the second half. FK Crvena Zvezda's Malcolm Göransson got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eduardo Fontirroig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Leif Browall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mario Fernandino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduardo Fontirroig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leif Browall having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goal looked a bit too open when Malcolm Göransson came free, but Camilo Freixa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bolivia were furious when Francisco Gallo was red carded, 69 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bolivia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 69th minute. Penalty! Camilo Freixa went to the wrong direction when Dag Jansson was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After a defensive mix-up in FK Crvena Zvezda's zone, Alfredo Ferrant stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leif Browall came out of the goal and Alfredo Ferrant tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, FK Crvena Zvezda's Leif Browall got control of the ball when Eduardo Fontirroig tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julio Chicote received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Leif Browall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Bolivia's Julio Chicote got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Eduardo Fontirroig was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 98th minute. Bolivia's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Bolivia were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
