Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Sp. Mataderos's Victorino Geofredo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Danilo Abeitia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 2nd minute of play. In the 3rd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montes to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Sp. Mataderos's Victorino Geofredo. But to his dismay, Victorino Geofredo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Sp. Mataderos's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danilo Abeitia came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Danilo Abeitia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 14th minute of play forced Sp. Mataderos's goalkeeper Danilo Abeitia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danilo Abeitia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Danilo Abeitia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 21st minute of the match. After 25 minutes, Felix Montenegro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the Sp. Mataderos players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 25th minute, Felix Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victorino Geofredo. Victorino Geofredo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but Victorino Geofredo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 28th minute. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Danilo Abeitia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Danilo Abeitia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 44th minute, Agustín Saelices hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximiliano Oriche kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Alejandro Bernabel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 59 played minutes Sp. Mataderos got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Salomone. After 63 played minutes Sp. Mataderos got a freekick which was hit by Victorino Geofredo. Danilo Abeitia made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 77th minute, Cristian Sancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Camilo Gisbert hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Lobo in the 83rd minute of play. Victorino Geofredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sp. Mataderos's Aldo Salomone got a free kick in the 87th minute. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Sp. Mataderos were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
