Tomas Illescas scored 1-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thomas Revheim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute of the match, Ruperto Gonza tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Ferrant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ruperto Gonza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 29th minute, Kryspin Mazierski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thomas Revheim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 32nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Gard Bredesen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. In the 44th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ruperto Gonza went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, POPODARA F.C's Bendik Bekken got a free kick in the 54th minute. The POPODARA F.C fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when POPODARA F.C's Ruperto Gonza looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gard Bredesen, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Gard Bredesen took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 71 minutes of play, POPODARA F.C's Ruperto Gonza made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Bendik Bekken in the 73rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bendik Bekken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. POPODARA F.C's Ådne Svensen was substituted for Bendik Bekken. 81 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Gard Bredesen came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thomas Revheim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Kryspin Mazierski kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. The supporters of Venezuela booed when POPODARA F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kryspin Mazierski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Runar Melum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thomas Revheim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 96th minute.
