Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mariano Lacasa kicked off to start the match. Lazaro Marin kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Amorebieta in the 12th minute of play. Boca Juniors's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hitzeder Manrique in the 13th minute. It was a well-played corner which Lazaro Marin managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Jacinto Cuadrado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 19th minute of play. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacinto Cuadrado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. A collision led to Boca Juniors getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Agnaldo de Alcântara hit a great ball. In the 26th minute Orlando Casaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Cuadrado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boca Juniors's Jacinto Cuadrado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 28th minute of play. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Amorebieta in the 32nd minute of play. Jacinto Cuadrado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 42nd minute of play. A collision led to Boca Juniors getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Radoslaw Kocieniewski hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Mariano Lacasa scored 0-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacinto Cuadrado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 58 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Arkadiusz Banaszak came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Jacinto Cuadrado in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mariano Lacasa scored 0-2 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacinto Cuadrado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Chile's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 67th minute of the game, when Guillermo Fontirroig after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Boca Juniors's goal. Guillermo Fontirroig was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. When Mariano Lacasa came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Chile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Lacasa couldn't finish the play. Jacinto Cuadrado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 77th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Gabriel Martinelli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boca Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Martinelli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thiago Pliego breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rolando Amorebieta struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Thiago Pliego didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boca Juniors. With a little luck, Boca Juniors's Jacinto Cuadrado got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 90th minute of the match, Mariano Lacasa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jacinto Cuadrado saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Chile were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after Boca Juniors's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mariano Lacasa took the corner. In the 93rdth minute of the game Rolando Amorebieta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Chile's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
