Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Ilan Champion tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sébastien Milliot kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. In the 13th minute, Youri Djorkaeff made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Youri Djorkaeff hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 24th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Émilien Tessier during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 29th match minute, Avel Vat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Émilien Tessier to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Youri Djorkaeff in the 31st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danny Pasquier having to interfere. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danny Pasquier having to interfere. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Youri Djorkaeff in the 43rd minute of the match. After 44 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. When Guillermo Mariano fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Guillermo Mariano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th minute, one of Venezuela:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Venezuela.

Guillaume Minier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 55 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Youri Djorkaeff came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Avel Vat's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Youri Djorkaeff in the 61st minute. In the 62nd match minute, Avel Vat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bilal Moutte to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the game, Malcom Vrignon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Avel Vat's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. Danny Pasquier made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. In the 66thth minute of the game Youri Djorkaeff who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Avel Vat's Youri Djorkaeff. But to his dismay, Youri Djorkaeff quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Avel Vat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bilal Moutte didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 78th minute of the game. One of Avel Vat:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Venezuela:s goal. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Danny Pasquier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 86th minute of the match. In the 87th minute Youri Djorkaeff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Youri Djorkaeff in the 92nd minute of the match. After 94 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. In the 95th minute, Bilal Moutte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danny Pasquier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 100th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Avel Vat had won after a very even match.
