Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. Luz Tejedor took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kristen Gulskov. Kristen Gulskov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albinus Alking in the 23rd minute. In the 26th minute of the game Wasyl Galaska made a throw-in which Kris Garmer played forward. The throw-in from Wasyl Galaska in the 28th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Kristen Gulskov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 29th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Monks in Robes's Augustin Barth got a free kick in the 36th minute. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kristen Gulskov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Ree got free with Rolando Noboa in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. Luz Tejedor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Kristen Gulskov made a huge save. 60 minutes into the game, Eliseo Mina recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kristen Gulskov. Eliseo Mina showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. In the 65th minute of the match, Julian Murillo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kristen Gulskov saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Albinus Alking sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Albinus Alking got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 71 minutes into the game, Peru's Luz Tejedor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kristen Gulskov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihăiţă Opriș in the 80th minute of play. Kristen Gulskov made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Luz Tejedor sent off a good shot on target.
