The supporters of Ecuador booed when TSIGALKO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marko Karlberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isak Björkdal having to interfere. Isak Björkdal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, TSIGALKO's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Isak Björkdal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adam Dahlquist charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adam Dahlquist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 20 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Luis Andino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isak Björkdal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 慕容 复 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the match, Felix Montenegro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isak Björkdal. TSIGALKO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felix Montenegro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Julio Vera was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and 慕容 复 capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. 慕容 复 really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. 35 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isak Björkdal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. 39 minutes into the match, Agustín Saelices had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isak Björkdal. TSIGALKO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agustín Saelices was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. After having played for 43 minutes, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Andino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by 慕容 复 in the 45th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Isak Björkdal in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 52nd minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of TSIGALKO's goalie and right to Felix Montes. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. TSIGALKO's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Mikolaj Trac kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Isak Björkdal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luis Andino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Daniel Zorita hit a great ball. Isak Björkdal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 75th minute of play. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute, Samim Nevsal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TSIGALKO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 93 minutes into the match, TSIGALKO's goalkeeper Isak Björkdal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than TSIGALKO.
