After a defensive mix-up in ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG's zone, Lautaro Mancebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jörg Wagner came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jörg Wagner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jörg Wagner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jörg Wagner was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Joel Gaona showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 78 minute of play. ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG's Jörg Wagner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 84th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Bjarte Sæverud put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Dante Lacasa. When Joel Gaona came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
