Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Felice Tacco took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hélio O'Connell saved Maritek FC from getting behind. In the 10thth minute of the game Agustín Saelices who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maritek FC's Hélio O'Connell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélio O'Connell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hélio O'Connell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hélio O'Connell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 20th match minute, Maritek FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferruccio Zarillo to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ettore Santo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ferruccio Zarillos short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Hélio O'Connell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 35 minutes Maritek FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hélio O'Connell quite easily take care of the ball. In the 38th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Sancho to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ferruccio Zarillo in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 42nd minute, Maritek FC's Ferruccio Zarillo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Felice Tacco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferruccio Zarillo in the 55th minute of play. Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélio O'Connell having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Maritek FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Hélio O'Connell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Hélio O'Connell made a huge save. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferruccio Zarillo in the 64th minute of the match. Daniel Zoritas short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Hélio O'Connell to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Hélio O'Connell in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maritek FC made a substitution. Federico Ondino replaced Felice Tacco. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maritek FC's Alfredo Toschi was substituted for Ettore Santo. Maritek FC's Hélio O'Connell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Maritek FC from getting a goal against them. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomás Moita's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Hélio O'Connell made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. After 89 minutes, Felix Montes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the Maritek FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Maritek FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomás Moita in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. In the 93rd minute Tomás Moita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Maritek FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Eugenio Palumbo hit a great ball. Despite being the better team, Ecuador failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
